Is the assistance free of charge?

Yes.All services and activities provided by the NGO “Step by Step South Region” are free of charge for eligible beneficiaries, in accordance with the conditions of the projects implemented and funded by our partners and donors. We are committed to providing accessible, confidential, and non-discriminatory support to individuals and communities in need.

Do I need to live in Cahul to receive assistance?

You do not need to live in Cahul to receive support. The NGO “Step by Step South Region” implements projects and provides services in multiple localities across the southern region of the Republic of Moldova, depending on the geographical scope and eligibility criteria of each project.

Can I request assistance if I am not a citizen of the Republic of Moldova?

Yes. Depending on the project and its eligibility criteria, the NGO “Step by Step South Region” also provides support to people who are not citizens of the Republic of Moldova, including refugees, displaced persons, and other eligible beneficiaries. We encourage you to contact us to find out whether you qualify for the available programs.

What happens after I send the message?

After you submit your message, the team at the NGO “Step by Step South Region” will review it and contact you as soon as possible. Depending on your request, we will provide the necessary information, guide you to the available services, or inform you about the next steps.

Do I need to prove my situation in order to receive assistance?

It depends on the project. Some programs may require supporting documents, such as an identity document or other relevant documentation (for example, regarding your health or social situation), depending on the eligibility criteria. Our team will inform you in advance about the required documents and guide you throughout the process.

Can I request assistance on behalf of someone else — a neighbor or a family member?

Yes. You may request assistance or inform us about a situation on behalf of a family member, neighbor, or another person who needs support. Depending on the type of request and the project requirements, the person's consent or direct contact with them may be necessary before assistance can be provided.

My situation does not fit any active project — can you still help me?

Yes.Even if your situation does not fall within one of our active projects, we will do our best to provide information, guidance, or advice. If we are unable to assist you directly, we will, whenever possible, refer you to the institution or organization best suited to help.

Are you ready to ask for help?
