About the project

Project description

The main objective of this project is to provide assistance to refugees from Ukraine and local people at risk of trafficking in persons and other forms of violence. This objective will be achieved through the following specific objective: facilitating access to specialized services for at least 400 vulnerable people (refugees and members of local communities) in the southern region of the Republic of Moldova.

The target groups include refugees from Ukraine, vulnerable members of local communities, public authorities, medical institutions, and host families accommodating refugees.

Goal and objectives

We aim to achieve this goal by providing psychological and legal assistance, referrals to accommodation services, humanitarian aid, and referrals to specialized institutions or relevant partners for refugees and vulnerable members of local communities based on their individual needs. Beneficiaries will receive support from specialized service providers for registration, needs assessment, and, where necessary, the development of an individual assistance plan, followed by referrals to other service providers for specialized professional support.

Facilitate access to specialized services for at least 400 vulnerable people (refugees and local community members) across 9 districts.

Provide humanitarian assistance and referrals tailored to the identified needs of vulnerable beneficiaries.

Strengthen coordination among local authorities, service providers, and partner organizations to ensure timely and effective support for refugees and vulnerable local communities.

What we aim for

Results

At least 400 vulnerable people (refugees and members of local communities) have gained access to specialized services.

Beneficiaries have received psychological, legal, humanitarian assistance, and referral services based on their identified needs.

The coordination and referral mechanism among public authorities, service providers, and partner organizations has been strengthened, ensuring a more timely and effective response.
