Advocacy Campaign in Comrat – Clear Steps Towards Safer Communities
On February 23, 2026, AO “Pas cu Pas regiunea Sud” organized a dialogue meeting in Comrat within the project “Safer Communities through Smart Systems and Transregional Cooperation”, implemented by AO “Pas cu Pas regiunea Sud” and funded through the BREN II Programme with the support of the United Kingdom Government and IWPR.
The meeting aimed to strengthen interinstitutional cooperation for the Comrat component of the project through a responsible approach focused on prevention, collaboration and public interest.
Participants reaffirmed the importance of implementing the project and strengthening cooperation between public institutions and civil society:
- Andrei Bolocan – Chief Commissioner and Head of the Comrat Police Inspectorate;
- Mihail Guran – Chief Commissioner and Deputy Head of the Comrat Police Inspectorate;
- Piotr Cristioglo – Sector Head, Comrat Police Inspectorate;
- Seiz Alexei – Representative of the Comrat Municipality;
- Svetlana Ciobanu – Executive Director of AO “Pas cu Pas regiunea Sud”;
- Stella Bădin – Architect of the Innovative Smart and Inclusive Security Model.
