Training on Inclusive Security and Violence Prevention at the Comrat Police Inspectorate

AO “Pas cu Pas - regiunea Sud” conducted a training session at the Comrat Police Inspectorate within the project “Safer Communities through Smart Systems and Transregional Cooperation”.

The main focus of the activity was inclusive security, gender-sensitive justice and violence prevention.

Through a practical approach, participants explored what inclusive security means in everyday interventions, with particular attention to the needs of vulnerable groups, the role of the police in maintaining a safe environment for all and practical examples from professional experience.

The session also addressed the gender perspective in law enforcement, the impact of stereotypes on interventions and the importance of effective communication with victims of gender-based violence.

Prevention, Response and Interinstitutional Cooperation

An important component of the training focused on prevention and response mechanisms, including the identification of early warning signs and risk factors, response procedures and cooperation between institutions in managing risk situations effectively.

The activity also included a practical role-playing exercise on responding to a domestic violence case, followed by analysis, discussion and the identification of good practices.

We thank the team of the Comrat Police Inspectorate for their hospitality and willingness to strengthen, step by step, a prevention-oriented approach focused on safety for everyone.
